Vengeful Rangers could deal fatal blow as pressure builds on Premier League manager

Rangers manager Philippe Clement has managed to guide his team to seven points from a possible twelve in a tough Europa League draw.
With Rangers at the halfway point in the revamped Europa League group stage, the club sits in 10th place with Ibrox eyes firmly set on progression to the knockouts.
But with the toughest tests yet to come, one potentially unhappy Rangers reunion is at risk of falling apart before the journey from down south to up north is even underway.
That's because Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is under increasing pressure for his inconsistent team's inconsistent results.
Spurs pressure rises on Ange Postecoglou
Ange Postecoglou fronted up to the media after Tottenham Hotspur succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at home to newly promoted Ipswich Town in the Premier League.
This comes after a 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray in the Europa League.
The result has heaped the pressure on the ex-Celtic manager, who is facing criticism for his all-action, unwavering style which is struggling to get results at the highest level.
With Celtic boasting Scottish football's biggest budget, our Old Firm rivals blew away everything in their path as Postecoglou halted Rangers' brief moment of domestic success.
But in North London such an approach is yet to yield any major rewards with Tottenham fans beginning to turn on Ange Postecoglou ahead of a Europa League return to Glasgow.
With Spurs now 10th in the English Premier League, the manager appeared to take issue with a comment from the stands as he walked down the tunnel at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It's indicative of a man under increasing pressure at the London outfit as he looks forward to taking Spurs to play Rangers in the Europa League in early December.
Postecoglou claims that the result was 'unacceptable' and that it's on his shoulders to 'fix' the problems with consistency at Tottenham.
Could Rangers deal fatal blow to ex-Celtic boss?
One of Rangers' Europa League rivals have already changed manager with Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim coming into replace Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United.
Whilst Ange Postecoglou's coat isn't on quite as shaky a peg as the Dutchman's was at Old Trafford, a failure to reverse Spurs' form in the coming weeks will intensify the pressure even further.
With a trip to Manchester City and a Europa League clash with AS Roma on the horizon, this is a distinct possibility.
Spurs then face Fulham, Bournemouth and Chelsea in the Premier League before that Europa League trip to Rangers on the 12th of December.
If things don't turn for Ange Postecoglou before then, and the Spurs manager is still in situ come the trip to Ibrox, then defeat to Rangers might well be the final straw for Daniel Levy and co.
Spurs have nine points from their opening four Europa League matches and find themselves in 7th place in the revamped competition's table.
