Club willing to pay €30m for Southampton star – Tottenham interest has Saints pushing up price

RB Leipzig are willing to pay €30m to sign Tyler Dibling from Southampton, but the Saints want more as Tottenham are also interested.
That's according to Sky Sport Germany, who report that Leipzig are interested in the 'super talent', but Southampton are refusing to budge.
They state that 'half the world' is currently chasing the 18-year-old as he's shone despite Southampton's struggles this season.
Leipzig are one of them and are prepared to pay €30m for the 18-year-old. However, Southampton have made it clear that they are want 'significantly more' for the winger.
That's because Tottenham, as well as other Premier League clubs, are also in the mix for him. Tottenham are ahead of their Premier League counterparts at this moment in time, though.
Southampton are aware of this and working behind the scenes to get Dibling tied to a new deal. His current contract expires in 2027.
Due to that, Southampton's demands and the interest from Tottenham, Leipzig consider a deal difficult to get done, but they are interested and willing to go as high as €30m for Dibling at this stage.
That in itself is a sign of the faith they apparently have in him already. It would not be surprising if others show a similar willingness to spend as much in the coming weeks and months.
