Stoke City’s Nathan Lowe has been tipped for a ‘very big future’ in the game by Walsall loan teammate Jack Earing.

Stoke City gave the striker the green light to link up with the League Two side on a temporary basis in the last transfer window.

Lowe, 19, has been a hit with the Saddlers so far and has scored seven goals in 12 games in all competitions so far this season, as well as chipping in with three assists.

Earing has said, as per a report by the Express & Star: “He’s only 19 and he’s still got all the legs in the world. I wish I had his legs – he’s such an athlete at such a young age. I live with him. He’s so switched on and for a striker at his age, he’s bullying grown men in League Two.

“He’s going to have a very big future. He’s just got to keep his feet on the ground and good things will come for him.”

The forward has risen up through the academy ranks of the Championship outfit and has been a regular for them at various different youth levels.

Lowe penned his first professional contract on his 17th birthday back in 2022.

He then made his first-team debut for the Potters in a league clash against Blackpool in February 2023.

Lowe has played a further 16 times for the Staffordshire club altogether since then and has found the net once.

His deal was extended in January by four-and-a-half years.

What now?

Lowe will be eager to keep his form going with Walsall.

Stoke City have changed their manager to Narcis Pelach from Steven Schumacher whilst he has been away in the Midlands.

The Potters face Norwich City at home this weekend following the international break. Meanwhile, the Saddlers take on Grimsby Town away.
