Sunderland will pay all of Enzo Le Fée's wages during his loan spell at the club and be obligated to buy him permanently if they are promoted to the Premier League.
That's according to journalist Eleanora Trotta, who has revealed 'all the figures' of the midfielder's move to Sunderland.
She reports that the deal taking Le Fée from Roma will be a loan with an obligation to buy set at €23m if Sunderland secure promotion to the Premier League. Sunderland currently sit fourth in the Championship, three points behind leaders Leeds United.
Le Fée's salary at Roma, which is undisclosed, will be paid in full by the Black Cats for the duration of his loan deal.
Sunderland coach Regis Le Bris has been 'decisive' to the player agreeing to move to the Stadium of Light after they worked together at Lorient. In fact, Le Fée enjoyed his most successful season under Le Bris' leadership while in France.
He'll now be hoping that the Sunderland boss can help to revive his campaign after a difficult spell at Roma following his move in the summer.
They too will be hoping he can provide a timely boost to their promotion hopes, having put their money where their mouth is to secure the loan from Roma.
