Jobe Bellingham has impressed for Sunderland this season.

He’s scored four Championship goals and has three assists, having played 34 games so far.

While Italian giants Lazio have previously been linked with the Englishman, Borussia Dortmund are now quite keen on signing the teenager.

BILD have reported today that even if Bellingham’s contract at Sunderland runs out in the summer of 2028, the Black Cats are willing to let him depart much earlier.

Scouts from Borussia Dortmund have kept an eye on the 19-year-old for about three years and the club has been in good contact with the Bellingham family since Jude first moved to the German giants in 2020.

This could prove key, as Jobe’s mother and father are assured that Dortmund are a very reliable club to help younger players.

On top of that, Bellingham has been to the Signal Iduna Park multiple times and he has always been in awe of the atmosphere.

Sunderland's asking price currently stands at €25m, according to Bild. It remains to be seen if Dortmund will move to negotiate for a lower fee or not.
