Reports linking Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface with Chelsea and Tottenham are wide of the mark and the player is not in contact with either side.

That's according to All Nigeria Soccer, who insist the striker will be remaining with the German side for the foreseeable future.

A report in England had claimed that Boniface was on the list at both Chelsea and Tottenham, and they’d scouted Boniface in recent weeks. In fact, both had scouted him on Sunday when he came off the bench to score an injury time winner in a seven-goal thriller against Wolfsburg.

All Nigeria Soccer refute any transfer idea, though, reporting that while Boniface's agency have significant links with Chelsea and Tottenham, nothing is on the cards.

They say that it is '100% confirmed' that his camp have not spoken to Chelsea or Tottenham about a potential transfer and no negotiations have taken place as of now.

Boniface has made it clear that he is happy at the Bundesliga champions and is focused on making his mark on the Champions League this season.

Thus, a transfer is not in his thinking at this moment in time and reports about any sort of contact with anyone, but specifically Chelsea and Tottenham, are wide of the mark and by some distance.
