Richarlison and Mikey Moore return a boost for Tottenham
Both Richarlison and Mikey Moore have been out injured since quite some time. Richarlison's season has been particularly challenging, with the Brazilian striker missing over 22 games due to recurring fitness issues. His most recent setback, a hamstring injury sustained in November, has kept him sidelined for nearly two months.
Prior to his injury, Richarlison managed only seven appearances across all competitions, clocking just 173 minutes.
Teenage sensation Mikey Moore, who had shown flashes of brilliance earlier in the season, has also been absent for an extended period.
The young winger last featured in Tottenham's League Cup clash against Manchester City in late October, missing the last 14 games due to an unspecified injury.
Moore's return offers Postecoglou a much-needed boost in terms of squad depth and attacking creativity, with the teenager highly regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the Spurs academy.
The return of both players comes at a pivotal time for Tottenham, as they prepare to face a formidable Liverpool side in a crucial two-legged semi-final.
The match against Liverpool is one of the biggest for the club as a win over a two-legged tie would take them a match away from ending their trophy drought.
Liverpool, however, will pose a big challenge for Spurs. The Reds have been in stellar form across all competitions and recently dismantled Tottenham 6-3 in a Premier League clash at Anfield.
It remains to be seen whether Ange Postecoglou manages to get the better of Arne Slot in the second time of asking or if it will turn out to be another defeat for Spurs.
