Ange Postecoglou's future at Tottenham Hotspur is increasingly uncertain as the club endures a turbulent season.

Reports suggest that the Australian manager could be shown the door at the end of the campaign if results don't improve.

However, Fabrizio Romano, via GiveMeSport, has reported that no definitive decision has been made regarding Postecoglou's fate.

As per his sources within the club, Spurs remain fully focused on their Europa League campaign, which could prove crucial for the manager's future.

The belief among decision-makers is that a strong finish—especially winning the competition—could solidify his position at the club.

Lifting the Europa League trophy would not only mark a significant milestone for Tottenham but also secure Champions League place for next season, which would strengthen Postecoglou's case to continue leading the team.

However, failing to deliver European success could leave his position vulnerable, with the club already evaluating potential successors.

Among the names on Tottenham's radar is Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, who is highly admired by the club's hierarchy.

As per the report, Spurs have already made indirect contact with individuals close to the Spanish coach, though no formal negotiations have taken place.

Alongside Iraola, Fulham's Marco Silva and Inter Milan's Simone Inzaghi are also seen as viable options, given their impressive managerial track records.

Ange Postecoglou's time at Spurs

Postecoglou's arrival in North London in June 2023 was met with great optimism. His attacking philosophy brought immediate success, including an unbeaten start and a historic three consecutive Premier League Manager of the Month awards. His season however, derailed after the club was hit by one of the worst injury crisis with a number of players out injured. They ended up finishing 5th, qualifying for the Europa League.

After his fantastic debut season, the expectations were high going into this ongoing campaign, but fans have been left utterly disappointed.

Injuries and poor form has seen Spurs slip to 14th place in the league, far below expectations.

As the season nears its conclusion, Postecoglou's job remains on the line. A Europa League triumph may be his only lifeline, with Tottenham's management carefully weighing their options for the future.
