ROMANO: Randal Kolo Muani to sign with Juventus on loan

Well, that was fun while it lasted. The news all day had suggested that the loan signing of PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani was going to come down to a player decision between Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus, with PSG having accepted loan bids from both clubs. Depending on which source you read — Italian media vs. English media — you got different opinions on which club was more likely, but it really did seem like it would come down to the decision of Kolo Muani himself.
Well, it seems like he chose... poorly.

Kolo Muani has accepted the proposal and will fly to Turin this week for medical tests.

Interesting that PSG had insisted that they wanted a purchase obligation for RKM, Spurs offered a purchase option in their bid, and he's ending up going to Juventus on a "dry loan." But whatever, I guess he just wasn't that into us. And that's kind of a bummer, since I think he could've been a significant upgrade to Timo Werner and cooked under Ange-Ball. Alas.
The only solid links that I've seen for forwards thus far this month have been Kolo Muani and a really stupid rumor about Marcus Rashford. But then, as I've said, Johan Lange moves in darkness like a ninja, and who knows what he's got up his sleeve. All I know right now is it's time to...
