Tottenham have initiated talks to sign Brentford player – Spurs could 'shake up Premier League'

Tottenham have opened talks with Brentford to sign Yoane Wissa before the end of the transfer window.
That's according to Foot Mercato, who report that Tottenham are looking to 'shake up the Premier League' window with a move for the Brentford man.
They state that Wissa's performances for Brentford this season have seen him attract attention from several clubs, including Nottingham Forest.
Tottenham are joining the race for him according to FM's information and have initiated contact with Brentford about a move. They have also contacted Wissa and his entourage to express their interest in him.
There is no mention of Brentford's stance on the matter, or the price they'll demand for a player who has scored 11 goals in the Premier League this season.
He cost them €10m to sign from Lorient in 2021 and it is easy to presume that Brentford would expect Tottenham to offer them a huge profit on that figure if they were to sanction a move this month.
We're sure that information will be available soon, but Tottenham have started the ball rolling by contacting Brentford and Wissa to express their interest in getting a deal done before February 3rd.
