Stefanos Tzimas is currently on loan at German club Nuremberg, and he has been quite impressive for them in the second division of the Bundesliga.

His performances have attracted the attention of Tottenham, who are keen on securing his signature according to BILD (h/t SportWitness). The report states that the London club has a 30% chance of signing the youngster and will face competition from Aston Villa, Newcastle United, West Ham United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

The striker is on loan from PAOK and the German outfit have an option to make the move permanent for a fee of around €18 million. They could look to sign him permanently and sell him for a profit if there is concrete interest in the player at the end of the season. The 19-year-old is highly rated across Europe and he has a bright future ahead of himself. He could prove to be a quality acquisition for Tottenham.

If they can sign him for a reasonable price, the move could look like a superb long-term investment. Tzimas is likely to develop with coaching and experience. Regular football in England could accelerate his development and help him fulfil his tremendous potential.

The striker has nine goals and two assists in 15 league appearances this season and his numbers are likely to improve when he is playing for a better team like Tottenham. Their attacking philosophy is likely to get the best out of him.

It is fair to assume that the player will be attracted to the idea of joining the London club if they come forward with an official proposal in the coming months. It would be a huge step up for him and he will want to prove himself at a high level. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can secure an agreement.
