Tottenham are actively looking to strengthen their squad in the final days of the January transfer window, with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford emerging as a potential target.

As reported by Daily Mail, Spurs are among several clubs ready to offer Rashford a fresh start away from Old Trafford, where he has struggled for regular game time under new manager Ruben Amorim.

Despite being tied to the Red Devils until 2028, the England international has been left out of seven of the last eight Premier League matchday squads, fueling speculation about his future.

Tottenham, however, are not the only club monitoring Rashford's situation. West Ham, Juventus, Napoli, and Galatasaray have all been linked with the forward, though reports suggest that his preferred destination remains Barcelona.

Rashford showed promise following Amorim's arrival, scoring in the Portuguese coach's first match against Ipswich Town. However, the pair have allegedly had a falling out with Amorim dropping him for the Manchester Derby after being left unimpressed by his attitude. He has not played for the club since.

His continued absence from the squad has only intensified rumours of an impending exit. In a recent interview, Rashford himself hinted at a potential departure, stating that he feels "ready for a new challenge."

Despite his struggles, the 27-year-old winger remains a high-caliber player, having recorded seven goals and three assists in 24 appearances this season, taking his overall tally for the club to 138 goals and 63 assists. His ability to stretch defences with his pace and finishing could be a valuable addition to Spurs' attacking setup.

Tottenham could do with Marcus Rashford signing given their injury crisis in attack

Tottenham's injury crisis has left Ange Postecoglou with limited options in attack. With key forwards such as Dominic Solanke, Richarlison, Brennan Johnson, and Timo Werner sidelined, signing Rashford could provide a significant boost to the squad's depth and firepower.

Spurs' interest in not new, with the club reportedly having held informal talks to sign the 27-year-old earlier this month. The club's former scout Bryan King has also urged the club to secure his services.

A move to North London could offer Rashford the chance to rejuvenate his career in a system that encourages attacking fluidity.

As the transfer window edges closer to its conclusion, Spurs will be closely monitoring the developments, hoping to secure a deal that strengthens their squad to fix their campaign.
