Tottenham Hotspur are making preparations for the summer transfer window, with squad reinforcements a key priority.

Injuries have significantly impacted the Lilywhites throughout this campaign, exposing a lack of squad depth. As a result, the club is looking to strengthen its options to avoid similar setbacks ahead of the new season.

One player who has reportedly caught Spurs' attention is Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, with discussions likely to take place when negotiations for Mathys Tel's permanent transfer begin.

Bayern Munich to offer Tottenham the opportunity to sign Coman

That is according to the latest report from GiveMeSport, which claims that Tottenham are set to be 'offered the chance' to sign Coman while finalising talks with Bayern over Tel, who arrived in North London on loan last month with a purchase option.

The report states that while Spurs have not yet made a decision whether they want to sign Coman, they have been alerted about his availability at the end of the season.

The French international remains under contract with the German club until 2027 and has a market value of around €35 million.

Coman's incredible numbers for Bayern Munich

Coman has been an important figure at Bayern since joining from Juventus in 2015, playing a pivotal role in the club's domestic dominance and European triumphs, including netting the winner in the 2019–20 Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

However, with Vincent Kompany in charge at Bayern, Coman's long-term future remains uncertain. Despite making 33 appearances this season across all competitions and registering six goals and four assists, he might not be a guaranteed starter.

He has been a great servant to the Bundesliga giants, having made over 300 appearances for the club, scoring 69 and assisting 62 across all competitions.

Tottenham already hold a £50 million option to make Tel's transfer permanent, but securing Coman as well would further strengthen Ange Postecoglou's attacking options.

While Spurs boast a talented frontline, adding a player of Coman's experience and quality could provide the team with an additional edge as they aim to compete at the highest level.

With negotiations expected at the end of the season, Tottenham have a chance to secure not just one but two French attacking talents, which could be a major boost to their ambitions for the upcoming campaign.
