Tottenham's young centre-back Radu Dragusin has recently been linked to a potential return to Serie A, sparking fresh transfer rumours.

Most of the speculations have been fuelled by his own agent, who has constantly been talking about the player regarding a future move away due to lack of playing time.

Napoli have been strongly linked with a move for the defender, with Antonio Conte said to been keen on signing him.

His agent has previously confirmed that the Naples based side have been watching his client amid speculations of a move away, with suggestions that a future move will depend on how much playing time he gets at Spurs this season.

Juventus are another Italian club showing interest in signing him. However, his agent has now come out and clarified Dragusin's stance, reaffirming the defender's commitment to Spurs and downplaying talk of a move.

In an interview with Tutto Juve, Manea stressed that the speculation about Dragusin's exit didn't come from their camp.

According to him, neither the centre-back nor the club has initiated discussions about a transfer, despite reported interest from the Italian clubs.

Manea emphasised that, contrary to the rumours, no substantial talks have occurred, and the young Romanian remains fully focused on his responsibilities at Tottenham. He also appeared to throw the ball in Spurs' court, stating that the final decision 'will be up to the club he belongs to'.

He said:

"He's coming off a great match against Manchester City, now he's focused on the rest of the season. He wants to do well with Tottenham.

"I learn about it from the Italian newspapers, I honestly don't know anything about it (transfer rumours.)

"With Juventus As far as I'm concerned, there have been no contacts. As always, the final say in these cases will be up to the club he belongs to, but the boy is happy here at Tottenham."

Dragusin made headlines in January when he rejected Bayern Munich to join Tottenham, becoming Romania's most expensive player.

Although his appearances have been limited thus far, the 22-year-old has been gaining experience across various competitions, though he faced a setback with a red card in his Europa League debut against Qarabağ back in September.

Now he will have a chance to claim a spot in the first-team after Micky van de Ven suffered a hamstring injury which will keep him out of action for at least a month. The Romanian will be expected to step up and take his place in the starting XI.
