Jamie Donley continues to go from strength to strength at Leyton Orient, with the on-loan Tottenham man adding yet another goal to his tally with a fine strike against Crawley Town on Sunday.
As the season has gone on, Donley has shown that he is too good for League One football, emerging as O’s main creative outlet in his number ten role.
While the 20-year-old’s technical quality has never been in doubt, he has shown at Brisbane Road that he has the physicality and mental toughness to cope with the demands of EFL football.
The youngster netted yet another goal in Orient’s win over Crawley Town on Saturday, taking his tally to seven goals and seven assists in 35 league games this campaign.

The Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate played all 90 minutes as the O’s emerged with a win from Broadfield Stadium to ensure that they remain in touching distance of the playoff spots.
With Orient leading 2-1, Donley put the result beyond doubt in injury time with a fine strike.
The home side was looking to play from the back but Richie Wellens’s men won the ball high up the pitch, with the ball finding its way to Donley in the box.
The 20-year-old showed great feet to evade a couple of challenges before producing a fine strike into the bottom corner.

Donely has outlined his ambitions for next season
If the youngster continues in the same vein, one will certainly not put it beyond him to have an important first-team role at Tottenham this season.
In fact, that is something the midfielder is already thinking about as Jamie Donley has admitted that he is excited to show what he can do in Tottenham’s pre-season when he returns to Hotspur Way.
The question is – will Ange Postecoglou still be in charge by then? And will Tottenham Hotspur be Europa League champions?
