Tottenham Hotspur pulled off a dramatic comeback, scoring twice in four minutes to secure a 2-1 win after trailing for much of the game.

Coventry City shocked Spurs by taking the lead in the 63rd minute, putting Ange Postecoglou's side at risk of an early exit from the tournament.

The match took an early setback for Spurs as young winger Wilson Odobert was forced off with a hamstring injury. His replacement, Brennan Johnson, would later become the hero of the night.

As time ticked away, Tottenham looked destined for an embarrassing defeat, but substitute Djed Spence ignited hope by netting the equaliser in the 88th minute.

Just moments later, Brennan Johnson sealed the win with a composed finish, thanks to a great pass from Rodrigo Bentancur.

Although it wasn't Tottenham's finest performance, they did enough to escape with the win, continuing their tournament run.

Midfielder Yves Bissouma, who missed the game due to an injury, shared his excitement on Instagram after the thrilling comeback. Posting a snap of the game on his TV, he captioned it: "🥹 Love you boys @spursofficial."

Bissouma, who also missed the Arsenal clash after picking up an injury while on international duty with Mali, is expected to return soon. Postecoglou hinted that the injury isn't serious, raising hopes he could be back for the weekend.
