Liverpool and other interested clubs would reportedly have to pay as much as £100m for the transfer of Southampton wonderkid Tyler Dibling this summer.
The talented 19-year-old has really shone for the Saints this season, managing to stand out in the Premier League despite his club's poor form overall.
Southampton will almost certainly be relegated back to the Championship this season, and it's hard to imagine they'll be able to keep hold of Dibling once that happens.
Still, it seems the England Under-21 international won't come cheap, with Southampton possibly set to ask for as much as £100m for him, according to the Telegraph.
Dibling is linked in that report with the likes of Manchester City and Tottenham, but Liverpool could also be one to watch in the race for his signature.
Liverpool stepping up Tyler Dibling transfer pursuit
Another report from the Daily Mail links Liverpool strongly with Dibling, stating that they've recently been scouting the teenager.
Meanwhile, our most recent information was that Manchester United, Tottenham and RB Leipzig could be among Dibling's main suitors.
Liverpool could be an ideal destination for Dibling, however, as the Reds have often given opportunities to top young players, while they also offer him a realistic chance of winning plenty of major trophies.
Arne Slot has done a terrific job at Anfield, and that will surely tempt someone like Dibling when it comes to picking his next club.
At the same time, however, it's perhaps harder to see LFC forking out £100m for the player, which would probably be more realistically affordable for Man City.
Dibling has been compared to Chelsea's Cole Palmer (by Dion Dublin via BBC Sport), so perhaps it is worth investing big money in him now before his reputation and market value just continue to go up and up.
