English footballers in different league's abroad from Chuba Akpom via Dean Henderson to Andy Carroll

Chuba Akpom was seen as a bright talent at Arsenal, but was never really rated as a full first team alternative for The Gunners. He left Arsenal in 2018, joining Greek club PAOK. He returned to England and played a number of season for Middlesbrough before again moving abroad to join Ajax in 2023. He has in 30 league appearances for Ajax scored 12 goals.
He is in this Ajax set up together with Jordan Henderson, who joined Ajax last season from Saudi, not really settling in that environment, as his performance level at Ajax made it possible to keep a place in the England squad. The 34 year old midfielder is currently the captain of the Ajax team.
Udinese is currently 5th in Serie A, with a certain Keinan Davis in their squad. The former Aston Villa forward also with a past on loan at Forest and Watford, has so far scored 3 goals in 16 apperances for his new club in Italian football.
Bundesliga clubs and especially Borussia Dortmund has done fantastic recruitment from England, with players such as Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham as great examples of players with success. BVB do currently have Jamie Gittens in their squad, a twenty year old winger that looks a massive player in progress. England internationals Eric Dier and Harry Kane are both in the Bayern Munich set up.
There are a number of English players in Bundesliga 2, such as Josh Knight representing Hannover, and Xavier Amaechi, a winger with a previous life at Arsenal, now representing Magdeburg.
Andy Carroll moved abroad last season joining French club Amiens. He then decided to move to 4th tier Bordeaux, as part of a plan to get straight back to the top, and hopefully Carroll (25) will help the team to their first promotion this season. He has so far scored 4 goals in 2 games.
Lille do have a star in Angel Gomes. The 24 year old has flourished in France since joining from Man Utd in 2020, at this point also making his mark for England at full international level. Another English player to look at in French football is 19 year old midfielder Emran Soglo, starting to find his way into the Marseille set up.
Former Arsenal midfielder and England international, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, is currently performing well for Lyon. He has a player that most certainly will be monitored by English clubs on Premier League standard.
Jesse Lingard (31) looks to have found his path at Korean club FC Seoul. He had a slow start being out injured, but with 5 goals in 21 appearances looks to be back in good condition. The former England international and Man Utd star, with his club currently 5th in the league.
