Pep Guardiola’s future at Manchester City is still up in the air.

The Man City boss is into the final year of his contract with his current deal due to expire on June the 30th 2025.

Guardiola is in his ninth season in charge at the Etihad Stadium and is hoping to win a fifth successive Premier League title.

The Spaniard has kept his cards close to his chest in the media but TBR Football can now reveal an update on his contract talks.

Manchester City willing to offer Pep Guardiola ‘rolling’ contract

Manchester City sources confirm that the club are not putting any pressure on Pep Guardiola to sign his new contract, although the lines of communication are continually open between the two parties.

City have made it clear to Guardiola that there is an 'open' offer on the table for him to sign a new deal.

TBR Football understands that Guardiola remains happy at the Etihad, but has yet to give any real indication.

His two previous deals have been agreed over the winter time and now we are approaching a similar situation.

Sources have also confirmed to TBR Football that City would be willing to offer Guardiola a 'rolling' contract – with clauses that he could walk away when he sees fit, but that is merely a suggestion at this point.
