Ange Postecoglou is under pressure at Tottenham right now, and one manager has been very vocal about the potential vacancy at Tottenham.

Indeed, Harry Redknapp has said he's ready to manage Tottenham again on an interim basis.

Redknapp criticised Postecoglou recently for making Heung-Min Son his captain at the start of the season.

The former Spurs manager has now made another claim about managing this current group.

Speaking on We Are Tottenham TV, Harry Redknapp has claimed that he would easily win the Europa League if he was in charge of this Spurs side right now, claiming that it's not at the same level as the Champions League.

Harry Redknapp says he'd win the Europa League with Tottenham

Redknapp once again reiterated that he's ready to take the Tottenham job if he's asked to, making a claim that he'd win the Europa League.

The 78-year-old is past his prime in a managerial sense, but he still thinks he'd be able to take this Spurs team to Europa League glory.

"Listen, I'm ready, I can't guarantee I'd do Saturdays because I go racing on Saturdays, I like to go to Newbury or Cheltenham," Redknapp said.

"There's the Europa League games midweek, luckily, so we only play Sundays anyway," The host said.

"Listen, if I can't win the Europa League, we are in trouble, really, I'll be truthful. It's not the Champions League is it? That football last week, watching PSG and Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, you can't beat that," Redknapp said.

Harry Redknapp's European record

Redknapp reckons he'd win the Europa League with Tottenham, but his past record in Europe suggests otherwise.

Indeed, Redknapp had plenty of chances to win European honours with Spurs during his first stint at the club in both the Europa League – formerly the UEFA Cup and the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Redknapp also managed West Ham in the UEFA Cup during the early 2000s.

Redknapp's record in Europe leaves a lot to be desired, that's for sure.

As for Tottenham's current Europa League chances, they've got something of a plum draw against an out-of-sorts Eintracht Frankfurt team in the quarter-finals, and there is an outside chance that Spurs can win some silverware this season, and, in turn, qualify for the Champions League.
