Manchester United and Marcus Rashford are still yet to part ways this month.

TBR Football understand Rashford is keen on a move to Spain – with Barcelona interested – after being banished from the side by Ruben Amorim.

The England international has been left out of the squad in six of Manchester United’s last seven Premier League outings – spending the other stuck on the bench – and does not appear to have any sort of future at Old Trafford.

TBR Football have been told West Ham are also keen to sign Rashford from Manchester United this winter – but only on loan.

With Marcus Rashford currently in the spotlight, Marc Albrighton has now made an interesting comment about the 27-year-old when speaking to Ben Foster.

Marc Albrighton says Wilfried Zaha is better than Manchester United No.10 Marcus Rashford

When Foster asked the 35-year-old who he feels is better out of the two attackers, Albrighton responded: “I would say Wilfried Zaha. He’s a better player. I think what he did at Palace was incredible. He carried that team for so many years. Obviously got his move to United, it didn’t really work out, came back, carried them for a few more years.”

That comes across as quite an embarrassing verdict for Manchester United – as the Red Devils actually sold Zaha back to Crystal Palace for peanuts.

After struggling to break into the side under David Moyes and then Louis van Gaal, the Red Devils opted to let the Ivorian return to Selhurst Park for a sum of just £3m – having spent £15m to bring him to Old Trafford just two years earlier as Sir Alex Ferguson’s last signing.

Zaha – who is close to joining Charlotte FC – boasts an impressive record in the Premier League for someone who mostly played in a defensive setup under Roy Hodgson.

The Ivory Coast international has 68 goals and 29 assists in 305 Premier League appearances.

In contrast, Rashford has only managed to net 19 more despite playing for a much better side over the years, scoring 87 and assisting another 40 in 287 Premier League games.
