Man City looks to have trouble both on and off the pitch, of course having the 115 alleged breached of Premier League rules, off it, and on it Pep Guardiola had to see his team again being defeated, this time in the Champions League vs. Juventus away, as the home team won 2-0.

Man City dominated the game in possession, but a good and clever defensive formula, made it impossible for The Blues to score as Juve counter attacked with two great goals scored.

In recent weeks we have seen the team stumbling in game after game, but we all that the negatives were gone after the 3-0 home win vs. Forest, last Wednesday, but a new set back in the league vs. Crystal Palace, a 2-2 draw, made it difficult to say that everything was ok.

The long term Rodri injury is of course one reason for the unstable situation, but it is not the only reason. The game vs. Feyenoord at home in Champions League, leading 3-0 but sqoundered away everything, leading to the Dutch team coming back, securing a 3-3 draw.

Independent senior football correspondent Richard Jolly is one that has gone a bit deeper in his analysis as we explore his comments. Pep Guardiola might looks a genious, but as Jolly explains, this goes a bit deeper with a certain Txiki Begiristain leaving the club in the summer.

Football today is not about one person, one manager, but it looks like it as media tends to forget the pattern and spider web that has to be set and in place for a manager to be able to get everything correclty. This is a bit like we have seen at the neighbour Man Utd, who are struggling heavily not having a structure in place that you need at every football club to get it to work.

Bergiristain will leave a huge gap after him and it will be interesting to see how this club will be looking in the future, and could the fact that the man that hired Pep Guardiola and also has his say on former manager who won the Premier League for the club, Manuel Pellegrini and Roberto Mancini.

The outcome of the hearings regarding those alleged 115 rule breaches, could see this club falling flat from grace and ending outside the league system, having to start again in National League, if that is possible, being turned into a 5th tier club.

We have seen this happening in other countries, Juventus, Bordeaux, Rangers and several other clubs have seen their status as a top flight club being dropped after difficulties either regarding laws and regulations.

Times will be interested, but the results on the field in recent weeks, could be something reflecting the outcome of the off field challenges, it will be interested to follow Man City in the next weeks as we will get more information about the status as a club going forward.
