Cheltenham Town boss Michael Flynn has admitted Jordan Thomas is likely to leave this summer amid interest from Millwall, Blackpool and Hibernian.
Cheltenham Town face a battle to keep hold of the attacker at the end of the season. His contract expires in June 2026 meaning that he still has over 12 months left with the League Two side.
Thomas, 23, has been a key player for the Robins over recent times and has become one of their most prized assets. GloucestershireLive reported in late March that Millwall, Blackpool and Hibernian were interested in him and that he has a buy-out clause in his deal.
In this latest update regarding his and Ethon Archer’s future, Flynn has said, as per a repot by GloucestershireLive: “I don’t think we’ll keep either of them, to be honest. I would probably say Jordan will go first.”
He added: “They are fantastic lads. I am harsh on them, on them every day but there is a reason for that: I know they have potential and I’ll do it in the right way, but I want them to fulfil their potential because they are two great lads, who I have a lot of time for.”
