Report: AC Milan make it clear to Chelsea how much they are willing to pay for Joao Felix

AC Milan are pushing to sign Joao Felix this month and have informed Chelsea how much they are willing to offer for the forward.

The Portuguese forward has struggled for regular minutes under Enzo Maresca and the Blues are open to letting him leave Stamford Bridge this month.

Felix has made just nine starts in total for Chelsea this season and the forward will certainly be keen to secure more minutes elsewhere.

John Obi Mikel called for Felix to play more given the team’s lack of goals, however, the forward has just struggled to get going.

Milan are the club showing the strongest interest in signing him and contacts are underway with Chelsea over a deal for the 25-year-old.

AC Milan want a loan with buy option deal for Joao Felix

AC Milan are working to secure Joao Felix on loan with a buy option for the summer of 2026, according to Calcio Mercato.

The Italian club are hoping that the option to purchase the player will be around £29.5 million and become active in the summer after next.

Milan will look to sign him on an initial six-month loan which extends for another season and then gives them the option to sign him permanently.

The West London club paid £45 million to sign the forward last summer after he scored four goals for them in 20 appearances back in 2023.

Chelsea will now need to decide how keen they are to move on the attacker as Milan are not offering the most favourable terms.

Joao Felix struggles for Chelsea this season

Felix has made just 12 appearances in the Premier League this season with just three of those games coming from the start.

His only goal in the league came in the season opener away at Wolves, meanwhile, he also has just one assist to his name.

The Portuguese international’s best performances have come in the Conference League where he has netted four goals in five matches.
