'So obvious': Arsenal told they need to sign £67m player as an 'absolute priority'

Arsenal started the season well but have suffered a downturn in form which has left them off the pace in the Premier League title race.
The Gunners have dropped to fourth in the standings – nine points off the summit – after failing to win any of their last four league games.
With the January transfer window now on the horizon, Arsenal could potentially look at bringing in some reinforcements to get their season back on track.
Now, ESPN pundit Mark Ogden has named who he thinks the Gunners should prioritise in the market, and stressed one such player is an “absolute priority”.

Arsenal urged to sign Viktor Gyokeres
The player in question is Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres, one of the most in-form centre-forwards in the world right now.
Arsenal have scouted Gyokeres recently, and it has been reported that he has a gentleman's agreement to leave Sporting for £67million next summer.
When it came to picking the ideal next signing for each of the Premier League’s top six, Ogden went with Gyokeres for Arsenal.
When asked why, he told ESPN FC: “I just think Arsenal’s need for a center-forward is so obvious.
“I mean, you know Kai Havertz has done a decent job scoring the goals, but they can’t just keep relying on him. It’s too big a burden for him to carry.
“For me, (a No. 9) is Arsenal’s absolute priority because they’ve got goalscorers in the team but they haven’t got an out-and-out goal scorer – I think that’s why they are nine points off the top.
“I think they’ve just taken it too far there with the forwards they have – you know that Saka and Martinelli and Havertz will score goals, but not enough.”
Arsenal have also been linked with Alexander Isak recently. In addition, the Gunners reportedly tried to sign Benjamin Sesko in the summer.
Who could sign Gyokeres next year?
Gyokeres has been strongly linked to Manchester United recently. Indeed, Dimitar Berbatov expects Gyokeres to sign for the Red Devils.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are also said to be keen on Gyokeres, so Arsenal may well have to compete with their arch-rivals for the former Coventry City ace.
However, Gyokeres won’t be an easy signing to make, considering how well he has done for Sporting ever since his move to the Portuguese capital.
His club tally this season reads 18 appearances, 23 goals and four assists, while his overall Sporting tally reads 68 appearances, 66 goals and 19 assists.
