Off the back of their exit from the FA Cup against Manchester United, the pressure was on Arsenal to deliver against Tottenham Hotspur and they certainly did in their latest 2-1 victory.
Mikel Arteta would have been delighted as his Gunners side looked hungry for a much-needed win against Ange Postecoglou and Co from the very first whistle.
Arsenal took the game to Spurs and for much of the contest, they were the far superior side.
Myles Lewis-Skelly impressed against Tottenham and so did several of his teammates in a hard-fought triumph at the Emirates Stadium. For Ange Postecoglou’s side, Kinsky was slated against Arsenal as a majority of their players let themselves down.
Heung-min Son’s opener was deemed inconsequential by Dominic Solanke’s unfortunate own goal and Leandro Trossard’s well-taken winner as Tottenham suffered their 11th defeat in the league this campaign.
Arsenal fans seemed frustrated against Tottenham at one point but the hosts gave them a reason to smile at the end of the 90 minutes.
Sol Campbell says Arsenal’s win vs Tottenham was an “amazing result”
It seems like ahead of every North London Derby, Sol Campbell often emerges as a talking point as his controversial move from Tottenham to Arsenal remains one of the biggest shock transfers in Premier League history.
As the retired centre-back became a true legend of the English game, it seems like his allegiances like with the Gunners.
After his former side beat Tottenham, Campbell left a three-word comment on Arsenal’s X page that read: “Amazing result lads!”
However, Sol Campbell, labelled “underrated” by Rio Ferdinand was not done expressing his delight.
The Englishman also posted a GIF of himself on X with the words, “much, much better” after the full-time result against Ange Postecoglou’s side.
Campbell also posted the same GIF of himself where he is saying “outrageous” after Trossard’s strike and Solanke’s own goal.

Tottenham supporters will already be in sour moods due to their loss to Arsenal.
Furthermore, Sol Campbell’s comments will only add salt to their wounds.
However, it is easy to see how the revered defender such a strong bond with Arsenal.
