Tottenham attacker is outperforming Arsenal's Kai Havertz but Spurs fans have one big complaint
Today at 01:00 PM
Tottenham’s season is going as many expected this year with glaring inconsistencies blighting their campaign and holding them back again, while North London rivals Arsenal are facing an uphill task to win the title.
Spurs’ hammering of Man City last week looked like a turning point but they were booed off this week against Fulham following their 1-1 home draw.
Ange Postecoglou knows how frustrating these stop-start results are and it remains his job to try and instil some consistency in the team.

Of course, there are some positives to take for Tottenham.
Going forward, they are a threat, and one of the big plus-points this season has been the goal contribution of £47m signing, Brennan Johnson.
Indeed, Johnson is doing so well, that he’s even outperforming the often lauded Arsenal star, Kai Havertz.
Brennan Johnson outscoring Kai Havertz despite Arsenal man’s constant praise
After signing for more than £60m, Havertz has been scrutinised from day one but this season, looks to have turned a corner.
David Seaman recently lauded Havertz, while Arsenal invincible Martin Keown has admitted Havertz has proven him wrong this season.
However, while Havertz wins praise for his Arsenal efforts, he is still lagging behind Tottenham forward Johnson in the goals department.
Johnson now has six Premier League goals to his name to Havertz’s five, while even James Maddison has scored as many as the Gunners forward.
But while Havertz gets plenty of praise and is now adored by Arsenal fans, Tottenham fans remain frustrated with Johnson overall.
Tottenham fans still not convinced by Brennan Johnson
Johnson has scored three in his last four games for Spurs, while he previously went on a run of scoring three straight in September.
However, over on social media, Tottenham fans aren’t actually sold on Johnson and there are questions from some fans over his contribution outside of scoring goals.
One fan pointed out how Johnson didn’t help defensively.
While another Tottenham supporter branded the winger’s performance as ‘terrible’.
@gkartal followed suit, claiming Johnson is just an average player.
“So whattttttttt ! Is just an average player at best, apart from this goal he did absolutely nothing.”
While @minervasupreme complained of Johnson doing little else in the game.
“Apart from that, what else did he do throughout the game?”
For Brennan Johnson, if he sees such comments, it will get to him, especially after some of the issues he faced off the field earlier in the season.
At the moment, he is scoring goals and contributing and as a forward, that’s his main job. Quite what Tottenham fans expect, is a bit of a mystery at times.
