Declan Rice was involved in an altercation at full time with Slovakia manager Francesco Calzona following England's 2-1 win after extra time in the last 16 of Euro 2024.

It had been another difficult afternoon for England who struggled to click into gear and this game followed a familiar pattern to the previous three in the group stage.

England looked to be heading for a humiliating exit until Jude Bellingham popped up with a superb bicycle kick to equalise in the 95th minute before Harry Kane headed England ahead less than a minute into extra time.

The Three Lions managed to hold on to set up a quarter final against Switzerland but there were unsavoury scenes at full time as Rice got into an altercation on the pitch with the Slovakia manager.

Tensions had clearly boiled over after a heated game, and the pair squared up to one another with Calzona appearing to shove the Arsenal star before words were exchanged and the pair had to be split up.
