Walsall's on-loan Stoke City defender David Okabue has taken to social media to thank the club, its fans, and staff for their support during his time in WS1.

Joining on a season-long loan, David made 35 first-team appearances, and entered several superb showings, grabbing a crucial goal during the Saddlers' 2-1 victory over Accrington Stanley back in February.

Speaking via his official X feed, David said: "It's been a pleasure to play for Walsall FC. Thank you to all the players, staff and fans for making this season so special. Loved every minute of it and have learned a lot from the experience."
