"It's Class": Tommy Simkin Reacts to Short-Term Saddlers Switch

Following the news that he'd become the latest player to make the short-term switch to the Saddlers, Stoke City goalkeeper Tommy Simkin has welcomed the opportunity to link up with the club.
"I know what it means to the people to play here. I've got mates from school who are Walsall fans and I have got family who are as well.
"I have spoken to a lot of people about the move."
Born in Walsall, Simkin, who has arrived at the Poundland Bescot Stadium on a season-long loan, is keen to prove his worth and add to the appearances he has amassed during previous loan spells.
Speaking via the club's official website, Tommy said: "It's class. I am a local lad and I think it is brilliant to come to this football club and try and play as many games as I can.
"I know what it means to the people to play here. I've got mates from school who are Walsall fans and I have got family who are as well.
"It is similar to Stoke, a hard-working community Club who want to see 110% from you as players when you are on the pitch and as long as we get the results, that is all the want.
"Solihull Moors was class. I spoke to Stephen Ward, who used to play here, before I came here and he had nothing but good words to say and I also spoke to Labs.
"I have spoken to a lot of people about the move."
