There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

George Barrett • Lye Town
George started as Lye Town took on Long Eaton United in the Midlands division of the Northern Premier League at the Sports Ground in Lye on Saturday afternoon.

George produced several fine saves, including one from the spot, but he and his teammates had to settle for a point as James Taylor's opener for Long Eaton was cancelled out by Joe Palmer's penalty in the second-half.

Jenson Kilroy • Hereford Pegasus
Jenson was named among the starters as Hereford Pegasus took on Mangotsfield United in the Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday afternoon.

Sadly for Jenson, he was unable to help his side to victory as goals from Kyrese Morrision (2) and Joe Porton were enough to seal the points for the Field in front of 171 fans at Cossham Street.

Cayden Bennett • Romulus
Cayden was named on the bench as his Romlus side took on Atherstone Town in the Midland League Premier Division at the CV Stadium.

Joining the Roms on work experience, the St Kitts & Nevis international could only watch as goals from Lewis Collins, Tom Smith and Chris Cowley gave the visitors a three goal lead.

Romulus were able to get themselves back into the contest as Talon Shepherd and Ethan Green scored, but they weren't able to find a third as Atherstone took all three points.

Jackson Preece • Newcastle Town
Jackson was a second-half substitute as Newcastle Town made their way to The EcoGiants Stadium and took on Clitheroe on Saturday afternoon.

Clitheroe grew into a comfortable lead as goals from Sefton Gonzales, Sam Olawumi, and Leon Creech gave them a three goal advantage,

Tim Grice game Newcastle a glimmer of hope in the second-half before Veron Parny re-established his team's three goal advantage with eleven minutes left to play.

Coming on for fellow loanee Zayn Sadiq early in the second-half, Cayden gained some much-needed match minutes as he takes the next step in his apprenticeship in WS1.

Charlie Wragg • Alvechurch
Charlie was a second-half substitute as Alvechurch lost 1-0 to Spalding United at Lye Meadow in the Southern League.

Looking to make it three wins in as many league games, the Church fell behind in the first minute of second-half stoppage time as their visitors snatched all three points.

Wragg took the place of Kieran Wakefield with fifteen minutes of normal time remaining, but was unable to impact the scoreline.
