George Barrett started as Lye Town made their way to The Dovecote and took on Shepshed Dynamo on Saturday afternoon.
Sadly for George, and despite pulling off a handful of strong saves, he was unable to help his team to victory as Kyle Dixon's penalty proved to be enough to seal the win for the hosts.
Jenson Kilroy was also a starter as Hereford Pegasus welcomed Malmesbury Victoria to the KDG for a match that would prove to be superb for fans of a Hereford Persuasion.
Goals from Jordan Williamson (2), Isaac Cooper (2), Harrison Coles, Harry Pitman (2), Aleks Striunga, and Will Dallaway made sure a late Malmesbury wasn't quite enough to help the visitors back into the game.
Charlie Wragg started and scored as Alvechurch made their way to the UK Flooring Direct Stadium and took on Barwell.
Opening the scoring via Wragg, Alvechurch were pegged back later in the second half when Leroy Lita levelled from the spot.
Tyrone Barnett put the Church back into the lead just after the thirty-minute mark before Tyrell Skeen-Hamilton put the game back on level terms in the second half.
Olly Brown-Hill put Barwell into the lead before Riley Moloney and Deen Master added two more goals later in the half.
Daniele Reka scored a late consolation but the match and more importantly the point went the way of the hosts.
Jaiy Leydon was a late substitute as Redditch United fell to a 3-1 defeat away to Kettering Town at Latimer Park on Saturday afternoon.
Coming on with just seven minutes of normal time remaining, Jaiy could do little to help Redditch to victory as two goals from Jonny Edwards either side of a Nile Ranger effort secured the win for the Poppies.
Former Walsall scholar Marvelous Onabirekhanlen had put United back on level terms in the first-half but the points eventually went to Kettering....
