Mat Sadler Pens New Walsall Deal

The Club has confirmed that Head Coach Mat Sadler has signed a new contract that should see him remain at the Poundland Bescot Stadium until the summer of 2028.
"He's been a joy to work with and I couldn't be more happy to get this sorted."
After guiding the Saddlers to their highest finish in Sky Bet League Two since returning to the division in 2019 in his first season in charge, 39-year-old Sadler has overseen further progress this season with the team currently sat top of League Two having won a club record equalling seven consecutive league matches.
Also reaching the Third Round of the Carabao Cup for the first time in nine seasons, Walsall are also in the Last 16 of the Vertu Trophy, where they're due to take on Peterborough United.
Walsall Co-Chairman Ben Boycott is delighted to see Sadler sign fresh terms, speaking via the club's official website, he said: "I'm very pleased to get this new contract with Mat over the finish line.
