Mat Sadler Reacts as Walsall Exit the EFL Trophy

Walsall boss Mat Sadler met with members of the media after his side exited the Vertu Trophy at the Round of 16 stage.
Despite goals from Danny Johnson and the returning Josh Gordon, the Saddlers fell to just their second defeat to League One opposition this season.
A duo of braces from Gustav Lindgren and Malik Mothersille along with a hatful of missed opportunities were enough to see the Posh through to the Quarter Final of the competition.
Speaking to George Bennett of the Express & Star, Sadler said: "There are ways of losing football matches, I'll be associated with that defeat every day of the week because that was us, that's who we are.
"Obviously, we made changes from the weekend, but we want that. Everyone is going to play a part for us this season, and everyone has got to be ready for when their moment comes.
"There was a period at the start of the second half where you were just willing us to take one of those chances, but we came up against a goalkeeper in inspired form today."
