PRE-MATCH NEWS & VIEWS
Walsall returned to winning ways on Saturday afternoon as Nathan Lowe's 11th all-competition goal of the season was enough to take all three points against AFC Wimbledon at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
Moving back into the automatic promotion places, the Saddlers once again demonstrated their welcome ability to ride out the storm before striking at the heart of their opposition.
Though far from a classic encounter, the match saw a few bright spots for those of us of a Walsall persuasion, not least another clean sheet for Lowe's Stoke City colleague Tommy Simkin, who continues to impress between the sticks.
WALSALL TEAM NEWS
On the injury front, Priestley Farquharson (thigh), Dylan Thomas (dislocated shoulder), and Josh Gordon (hamstring) remain on the sidelines as they continue to work their way back to fitness.
Defender Harry Williams (concussion) made the trip to Plough Lane on Saturday afternoon but was not named in the matchday squad.
OPPOSITION NEWS
Opponents Bromley weren't in action on Saturday afternoon as their trip to Salford City was one of the games impacted by Storm Bert. Their most recent outing saw them draw 1-1 with Carlisle United last weekend.
Opening the season with two wins in as many games, the Ravens have steadily dropped down the table over the last few months, going nine games without a win. They've won just one of their last four and can ill afford to drop points on such a regular basis if they are to remain in the EFL.
