Walsall Duo Sanctioned After Accepting Misconduct Charges

Walsall's kitman David Joyce and pitchside announcer Simon Hill have been sanctioned for misconduct by the Football Association.
It was alleged that the pair acted in an improper manner during the latter stages of the Saddlers' League Two meeting with Crewe Alexandra on Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, 9th November.
Following an inquiry by an independent Regulatory Commission, they have been handed three-match bans as well as £350 and £100 fines respectively
In a statement, issued across their official social media accounts, the FA confirmed: Walsall's kitman and pitch-side announcer have been sanctioned for misconduct at their EFL League Two match against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 9 November.
It was alleged that David Joyce and Simon Hill acted in an improper manner around the 98th minute, and both of them subsequently admitted to this.
An independent Regulatory Commission imposed three-match bans on the kitman and pitch-side announcer, as well as £350 and £100 fines respectively.
The independent Regulatory Commission's written reasons for these sanctions will be published in due course.
