Academy: Coyne Joins St Albans On Loan

Under-21s defender Aidan Coyne has moved to St Albans City on loan until the end of the season.

The Australian centre-back will link up with the side who currently sit 21st in the National League South, ahead of their fixture at home to Hornchurch tomorrow.

Coyne joined Watford’s Academy in November 2022 on a deal until the conclusion of the 2022/23 campaign, with an option to extend a further year.

In July 2023, the one-year option was exercised, and he was then offered a new deal in May.

The 20-year-old previously spent time on loan at Maidenhead United this season.
