The Hornets’ second face-to-face Fans Q&A of this season will be a ‘Coaching Special’ – to be held in The View lounge, inside Vicarage Road Stadium, on the evening of Wednesday April 2 at 7pm.

Helping chart the pathway for stars of the future from their first steps within the academy to first-team regular will be coaching voices from throughout the club, making up the panel to answer supporters’ questions.

Joining Head Coach Tom Cleverley and his Assistant Damon Lathrope will be Academy Head of Technical Development Jimmy Gilligan, Under-21 & Under-18 Lead Coaches Charlie Daniels and Matt Bevans, along with one or two other Academy coaching staff who are part of a player’s journey between the ages of nine and 16.

Places at the Q&A event will initially be offered directly via email to applicants unsuccessful in the ballot for the first Fans Q&A of this season back in November.

Places are very likely to be allocated by ballot again, given the level of over-subscription for the previous event.

Should the total of around 150 places not be filled, a further note inviting additional ballot applications will be issued.

‘Hornets Afar’ - Online Q&A Sessions

Additionally, exiled and ex-pat Watford supporters registered on the club’s ticketing database will soon receive an email inviting them to apply (via a balloting process) for places in our ‘Hornets Afar Q&A’ online sessions coming up during April.

Hornets’ players and staff members will be answering questions on a live video call shared with around 20 supporters at a time.

Several of these sessions will be scheduled during April, giving Golden Boys’ followers living more than 75 miles from The Vic a chance to interact – given it’s unreasonable to expect them to be able to attend face-to-face Q&A events.

Emails will soon be sent directly to email addresses registered against supporters’ Fan ID records, based upon geographical location.
