Trust: Events Taking Place Throughout 2025

Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust are offering a wide range of events throughout 2025.

There are a number of opportunities, whether you want to take on a challenge, or simply show your support to your local community.

See below a host of fundraising events for you to get involved in with the Trust this year.

Challenge For Change

Run, cycle, jump – whatever challenge you want to take on, now you can do thanks to our latest partnership.

It could be any time, any place, whatever works for you, we have over 800 different challenge events for you to choose from.

So go on, be brave, take on that event you’ve always wanted to, push your limits, and raise funds for us whilst you do it!

Stadium Sleepout, sponsored by Foxtons

When: Friday February 28

Following on from the huge success of last year’s event, when over 300 people slept out at Vicarage Road, raising £70k in the process, the Stadium Sleepout is back for 2025.

From Friday February 28 into Saturday March 1, we are once again joined by One YMCA, DENS, Herts Young Homeless, and New Hope to raise awareness of the number of people facing Homelessness in Watford and the surrounding districts, whilst raising vital funds to go towards combatting homelessness.

Registration fees
·       £30 for Adults.
·       £15 for Under-18s (minimum age eight. All Under-18’s must be accompanied by an adult.)

Trust Gala Dinner

When: Thursday March 20

A spectacular night celebrating another year of amazing charity delivery in our community, including special guests from Watford FC past and present, a three-course meal, live entertainment, and of course, our annual Trust Champions Awards – recognising our inspirational beneficiaries.

Mental Health World Cup, in partnership with WD18

When: Saturday May 10

The public sale of teams has now sold out for this charity football tournament to be hosted on the pitch at Vicarage Road, but there is still an opportunity to be involved.

We are looking for sponsors for the event, which is the only way to guarantee a spot for your employees and colleagues.

So, if you want to get brand exposure at an event with over 250 players present, as well as the many spectators, hosted at a professional football ground, whilst also supporting some fantastically worthwhile causes, contact us today.

The Taylor Trek

When: Sunday October 12

With three successful years behind us with a host of Watford fans, current and former players, and special guests, all taking part, we can’t wait for year four!

You can now be one of the first to sign up for 2025’s event and help us continue the community legacy.

If you’ve not been involved before, this is a charity walk that takes participants on an inspiring journey through the key sites of Graham Taylor’s Hornets' history, around Watford and surrounding areas.

There’s something for everyone with three routes available (Family, Medium, and Challenge), all finishing with a pitch-side walk at Vicarage Road.

Step Up, sponsored by Skechers

When: Summer 2025 TBC

Step Up is a unique stair-climbing challenge event taking place at Vicarage Road.

Run, walk, or climb, your way up and down the stands of this 20,000+ seater stadium.

With chipped timing available, you can set yourself a target, compete amongst your friends, or simply just try and complete it!

There are two routes available:
·       Half route (one-and-a-half stands) - 9am registration.
·       Full route (All stands) - 9.30am registration.
