Trust: Football Careers Evening Set For Vicarage Road

Watford FC’s Community Sports & Education Trust is hosting an event at Vicarage Road aimed at students looking to work in the football industry.
An Evening of Football Careers is taking place on Wednesday November 20 in the Sir Elton John Suite, with a panel of coaches and staff from across the men's, women’s and academy teams sharing their experiences of working in the football industry while offering key insight and advice.
Staff members from the Trust will also be present to give top tips and highlight how the Trust can help attendees find their feet in the world of football.
Aimed at those looking to progress into further or higher education, An Evening of Football Careers will be hosted by former BBC Three Counties commentator Jon Marks.
There will also be stalls and resources highlighting paths to get you to the career in football you are looking for, including education routes and live job roles.

BSc Football Coaching & Performance
A brand-new degree delivered in partnership with Middlesex University, in which students will learn from industry professionals, gain valuable experience, have the opportunity to gain key qualifications and be given a free Watford FC kit. Find out more HERE.

A programme aimed at talented male players between the ages of 16 and 18, combining academic studies with practical football experience. Players from the academy will train daily and play on a competitive basis in the National Football Youth League, all while gaining A-Level or BTEC qualifications. Find out more HERE.
Whitmore High School Football & Education Scheme
This scheme is based in Harrow and aimed at male players between the ages of 16 and 19. This provides players with the chance to combine competitive football with academic studies, in the form of BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport. Find out more HERE.

Based in St Albans, this academy allows students to combine sixth-form entry with a competitive football programme that offers dedicated training, as well as playing league and cup fixtures in Watford FC kit. Find out more HERE.
