West Ham pre-season friendlies: Hammers confirm four games, face PL duo in USA, La Liga club to visit London Stadium

West Ham United endured a largely underwhelming 2023-24 season as they finished ninth in the Premier League standings.

The Hammers were especially poor towards the end of the campaign, winning just two of their final 11 league matches.

David Moyes left the club by mutual consent in May, with the East Londoners installing Julen Lopetegui as their new head coach.

The Spaniard has managed clubs like Real Madrid and Sevilla, and also kept Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English top-flight in 2022-23.

Lopetegui has now taken up the challenge of getting West Ham back into Europe, and he will want to make a good first impression with a strong display in pre-season fixtures

Like several other Premier League clubs, the Irons will also be travelling to the United States of America this summer but their first pre-season friendly is scheduled in London

They will take on Dagenham & Redbridge at the Chigwell Construction Stadium on Saturday, July 20 before flying to the US.

The Hammers will face Wolverhampton Wanderers in Florida at the EverBank Stadium on July 27 before locking horns with Crystal Palace at the Raymond James Stadium on August 3.

Lopetegui's men will return home to England to play their final pre-season game against La Liga side Celta Vigo at the London Stadium on August 10.
