BBC Sport pundit Paul Robinson has raved about West Ham United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka for what he did late in the game against Brighton and Hove Albion at London Stadium.
West Ham played out a 1-1 draw with Brighton at home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Mats Wieffer put the Seagulls in the lead just six minutes into the second half.
Mohammed Kudus, who has been linked with Arsenal in the January transfer window, scored the equaliser for the Hammers with a header from a rebound.
The Hammers almost conceded a late goal. Tariq Lamptey had a great chance to score the winner for Brighton, but Wan-Bissaka made a brilliant challenge to stop him.
The former Manchester United right-back made the outstanding goal-line clearance and put his body on the line, and former Tottenham Hotspur and England international goalkeeper Robinson was hugely impressed.
Robinson said about Wan-Bissaka on BBC Radio 5 Live: "Wow. What a piece of defending from Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The collision looked awful. An incredible piece of bravery from Wan-Bissaka."
View: Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a very important player for West Ham
Wan-Bissaka did not have the best of times at Manchester United, but at West Ham, he is one of the best and most important players.
While the 27-year-old is not the best at going forward, he is a very good defender who does his job perfectly at the back, like he did against Brighton at London Stadium on Saturday.
The defender stopped a Brighton counter-attack with a good piece of one-on-one defending and kept Kaoru Mitoma quiet.
According to WhoScored, against Brighton, Wan-Bissaka had a pass accuracy of 79.2%, won two headers and took 54 touches. The 27-year-old attempted one dribble.
The defender made three tackles, two interceptions and four clearances. The West Ham star put in one cross as well.
When fit and available, Wan-Bissaka has to be part of West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui's starting line-up. He has scored two goals in 16 matches in all competitions for the Hammers so far this season.
