It has been 18 months since construction of the new Spotify Camp Nou started, and the process has not been smooth sailing for Barcelona. They had hoped to be back home by the end of 2024, and alas, it has proven not be the case.
Instead, the club is hoping to return to the stadium in March, as February was recently ruled out. There has not been many delays during the process, which perhaps suggest that the initial goals set by Barcelona were somewhat ambitious.
Nevertheless, things are going well, and earlier this week, Sport released a video which showed how the Spotify Camp Nou is currently looking, two months out from Barcelona's hoped return.

The entire Espai Barca project is not expected to be finished until 2026, but Barcelona are determined to ensure that the first team are able to play at the Spotify Camp Nou as soon as possible, given the financial implications that this has. It remains to be seen whether a March return is achievable.
