Liverpool supporter warns Trent Alexander-Arnold about Liverpool fan reaction if he makes Real Madrid transfer

It will be hard for Trent Alexander-Arnold to come back to Liverpool if he joins Real Madrid.
That’s according to one fan when he joined talkSPORT to discuss the Reds defender and his contract that expires at the end of the season.
Real Madrid have made it clear they are interested in Alexander-Arnold and as of January, the player will be able to negotiate with foreign clubs with a view to moving on a free transfer six months later.
However, talkSPORT understands reports from Spain claiming the 26-year-old has told Liverpool he wants to leave for Madrid are premature.
Negotiations over a new Anfield contract are still ongoing but Alexander-Arnold has been given a strong warning if he was to leave in 2025.
Calling into talkSPORT Breakfast, passionate Liverpool fan Lee said the right-back won’t be welcomed back at his boyhood club.
“If he leaves, he’ll never get forgiven. He’s a Liverpool boy, he should be privileged to play for Liverpool Football Club.”
He added: “What I want to get across, don’t think Trent can come back when his football career is over and talk about winning everything with Liverpool, because he won’t be accepted.”
“Oof,” host Gabby Agbonlahor said in response, but Lee explained: “Gabby, that’s how it is.
“Look at Real Madrid, the biggest club in the world – it’s a farmers league, they win it or Barcelona [do], Atletico Madrid might win it once every ten years.”
Agbonlahor then asked if a move to Madrid is hard for Alexander-Arnold to turn down, and Lee responded: “Gabby, when you’re born in Liverpool, you play for Liverpool.
“That’s his dream, to play for Liverpool. He could captain Liverpool one day when [Virgil] Van Dijk goes… I just think, his football career is short, he’s going to regress if he leaves.”
Other Liverpool players – Steve McManaman and Michael Owen – have moved from Liverpool to Madrid, while Alexander-Arnold’s friend, Jude Bellingham, is currently there.
But Lee said he has no love for those former players.
Lee added: “I hate McManaman… I hate Michael Owen [he] went to Man United – hate him. That’s how it is.
“You don’t seen Michael Owen around the ground much because you’ll get booed and that’s what will happen with Trent.
“Every time he comes back to Anfield to talk about when he won the Premiership and the Champions League with [Jurgen] Klopp. He won’t get forgiven and that’s how it is.”
Agbonlahor, the former Aston Villa striker then asked if his feelings sum up those of the Anfield faithful.
“[Steven] Gerrard was going to go [in 2005 after his transfer request and links to Chelsea], they were burning his tops, remember that on Sky Sports?
“Then he changed his mind because he knows, ‘In five years, I’ve got to come back to Liverpool.’
“[Trent] will never be a manager of Liverpool Football Club if he goes. All the fans will hate him and that’s the truth, Gabby.”
Alexander-Arnold progressed through the Liverpool academy and made the first of his 333 appearances thus far in 2016.
He has won the Premier League and the Champions League with his boyhood club, as well as the FA Cup, two Carabao Cups, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
The defender is one of three Liverpool stars currently set to leave the club next summer as Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah also see their contracts expire in June.
