The centre-back has two years left on his contract, meaning Palace will be forced to consider cashing in if they cannot agree terms on an extension.

Palace owner Steve Parish, who was among the crowd in Gelsenkirchen watching Guehi get the better of Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, values the 23-year-old in the £70m bracket.

The ex-Chelsea academy product has played 9 Premier League games for Palace.

Chelsea firm on Jackson

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is a target for Atletico Madrid.
Jackson, 22, is understood to be one of the players disgruntled by manager Mauricio Pochettino's end of season departure.

However, Chelsea are ready to rebuff any offers for the Senegalese international.

After a slow start to his Stamford Bridge career, Jackson finished his maiden Premier League campaign with a respectable 14 goals from 34 games.

Gross dilemma for Pascal

Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross is facing a career dilemma.
Gross, who turned 33 last week, is in the final year of his contract at the Amex Stadium and the Seagulls are keen to tie him down to a new deal.

But, Gross is attracting strong interest from clubs in his homeland including Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund.

Stalwart Gross was Brighton's first signing as after winning promotion from the Championship in 2017 for a bargain £3m from Ingolstadt and is the club's all-time top scorer in the Premier League.

Archer to go marching in?

Southampton are among the clubs interested in signing Aston Villa striker Cameron Archer.

Archer is returning to Villa after a year at Sheffield United because of a buyback obligation in last summer's £18m transfer as a result of the Blades' relegation.

Manager Unai Emery is willing to sanction Archer's exit and Saints are eyeing the former England under-21 international to add more firepower after the promotion back to the top-flight.
