AFCONQ 2025: Nuamah & Sulemana return to Ghana squad

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has announced his 25-man squad that will face Libya in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Olympique Lyon forward Ernest Nuamah and Ibrahim Sulemana of Atalanta have made a return to the squad after recovering from injury setbacks that kept them out of last month's qualifiers.

The Black Stars will play Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, October 10 before traveling to Libya for the reverse fixture at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benina, Libya, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Ghana are currently placed third in the Group F standings – five points behind leaders Angola with four matches left.
