Salah to stay in Europe?

Amid reports of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah being linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, it has recently been claimed that a European giant are willing to offer the Egyptian a lucrative three-year deal to stay in Europe.

The former Chelsea winger has been one of Liverpool's best players this season, this after being linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad for much of the off-season.

However, the prolific goalscorer opted to stay with the Merseyside giants for the 2024/25 campaign and could well leave the club on a free transfer when his contract expires in June 2025.

According to The Sun, as per Football365, Paris Saint-Germain are said to be keen on bringing Salah to Ligue 1 next season. It's said that the French giants are willing to offer Salah a three-year contract and that they 'prefer' him playing at the highest level.

The same report mentions that PSG are pressured to secure a marquee signing following the loss of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in recent seasons.

It remains to be seen what the next step will be for Salah, nevertheless, the African star remains a well courted player as he heads into his early 30s.
