Burkina Faso and Senegal will be hoping to cement a position in first place of Group L of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers when they lock horns at the Stade du 26 Mars on Thursday evening.
Kick-off is at 21:00 CAT (SA, GMT+2)
Both countries have all but guaranteed a place in the next tournament which will be hosted in Morocco as they are currently level on points at the top of the log, with a six-point lead over Burundi who are third.
Having replaced Aliou Cisse as the head coach of Senegal in October, interim coach Pape Thiaw has won each of his three matches in charge and will be looking to maintain his perfect record in the clash against the Stallions.
Defender Kalidou Koulibaly says that the Lions of Teranga are not thinking about a new coach at the moment and are focused on the task at hand.
"It is a new era, we are going to see what happens," Koulibaly told SuperSport.com.
"For the moment we have a coach in Pape Thiaw, who is doing a good job as you can see from the last two games."
"We have all the confidence in the coach and we will see what happens (with his position in the future) but for the moment we are all focussed with this coach and his staff," Koulibaly added.
