Cristo heading back home to Tunisia?

Mohamed ‘Cristo’ Dhaoui is reportedly closing in on a return to Tunisia with CS Sfaxien after limited opportunities at Al Ahly.
The Tunisia international joined the Red Eagles from hometown club Etoile du Sahel in January 2023 and was tipped to have a bright future in Cairo.
But Cristo struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular under Marcel Koller, making just 15 appearances across all competitions without scoring a single goal.
The 21-year-old winger is said to have expressed a desire to go back home and Juventus El Arab appear to have won the race for his signature despite interest from Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca.
Reports claim that Cristo will join Alexandre Santos’ side on a season-long loan with an option to make his move permanent at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
The temporary transfer would free up a spot in Koller’s squad for another foreign player as there is a quota limit of five allowed per team in the Egyptian Premier League.
