"It's not the moment I wanted" – Arsenal player admits he wants more, clearly expected different

Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has admitted he is not happy with his current situation at the club as it is not what he wanted.
The Brazilian has been speaking to TNT Sports Brasil after the 1-0 loss to Inter Milan in the Champions League continued a difficult sequence of results for Mikel Arteta's side.
The 27-year-old has found himself on the sidelines looking in for the most part, with 14 appearances in all competitions to date but just 480 minutes of action.
He very much finds himself as a substitute option in Arsenal's plans at this moment in time, starting just one Premier League game, two in the Champions League and the EFL Cup wins over Bolton and Preston North End.
That's a less-than-ideal situation for the 27-year-old, who joined Arsenal in a €52.2m deal from Manchester City in July 2022 and was supposed to be their starting centre-forward.
Instead, he has found himself steadily falling down the pecking order as injuries have kept him out and the likes of Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have moved ahead of him.
There have been consistent reports about a potential return to Brazil, with Palmeiras particularly keen, although Arsenal shot down their attempts to make a transfer happen.
They will be encouraged by Jesus' latest comments, though, with him admitting that he's not happy with the current situation.
"Well, I believe that not only me, but any player, all players, want to have more minutes," he said.
"I'm obviously never going to cause anything in the club, I’m going to try to demonstrate on a daily basis, in training, and when I get into the games, have my chance, and do my thing and trust that things will happen.
"I’ve always made it very clear that I want to improve, that I want to try to do my best and help Arsenal.
"Obviously, my moment is not the best, it’s not the moment I wanted, that I would like, but as I said, I’m working on my own, trying to do my best, and get more minutes to play, but that’s a consequence of my training, it’s a consequence of the way I get in and leave the decision to the coach.
"I believe in my potential, and I also know that the fight for my place in Arsenal is big, but I also believe that I can help a lot."
